Core Philosophy: Offline-First & Private
Offline House Rent Manager is built with an offline-first architecture. We do not host your tenant, rental, ledger, or financial data on any external server.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All information you enter in Offline House Rent Manager—including property details, landlord profile information, tenant contact logs, leases, rent invoices, and payment histories—stays securely stored only on your local device.
Data Collection and Sharing
Because the app runs strictly locally on your device, we do not access, view, collect, or store any of your private app data. However, the application uses third-party libraries for advertising and processing premium upgrades, which may compile telemetry or account data as outlined below:
- Google Play In-App Billing: Used to securely process premium upgrades (e.g. Ad-Free lifetime license). Google collects transaction data and payment tokens under its standard privacy terms.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to load interstitial or rewarded ads for free tier operations. AdMob may collect device advertising IDs (such as Google GAID) and usage diagnostics to display personalized ads.

Local Storage & Backups
All data is maintained locally using secure private app folders on Android. You have full ownership and control of your database at all times:
- Manual Backup: You can export your data as a secure local JSON file at any time.
- Data Restoration: You can restore previous records by importing your JSON file back into the app.
- Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app from your device immediately deletes all local databases and assets. Please ensure you have backed up your database before removing the app.
Required Device Permissions
Offline House Rent Manager may request permissions to complete specific actions on your behalf:
- Internet: Required strictly by AdMob (for loading ads) and Google Play Billing (for resolving premium licensing and purchases).
- Storage (Read/Write): Required on older Android systems to generate, download, and export PDF rent receipts to your public documents folder.
Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can perform the necessary actions.
